Sailor Lisa Blair will shortly attempt to be the first woman to circumnavigate Antarctica, solo and non-stop – and aims to complete the perilous journey in just 90 days, setting a new world record for a feat that only two men have done before.
Lisa has worked on yachts and marinas around the world, has competed as a watch leader on the Clipper Around the World sailing race, has competed in the solo trans-Tasman sailing race and skippered a yacht in the Sydney to Hobart race; but circumnavigating the South Pole will be her biggest challenge yet.
